Political Short Cuts

Political Short Cuts are my personal comments about current politics, nothing more.

1) Regarding Romney's flip flopping. First, I haven't made up my mind about my vote for a Republican candidate to take on Obama. I remain firm in my support of "Santormney". Either candidate would appear make a good president, but right now, Republicans are conflicted as to which candidate can defeat Obama. I say either one, but neither has come forward as THE ONE who can best represent the conservative Republican base in debates against Obama. All we see right now is a huge, vicious dog fight among Republican candidates. It's like watching a winning team fight amongst itself along the sidelines DURING THE SUPERBOWL! What the Heck!?

OK. Back to Romney flip-flopping...All I can say is that you must remember that Reagan flip-flopped in his early years, back and forth between being a moderate liberal and moderate conservative before settling down as a true conservative Republican. When Reagan ran for the presidency, our own "the Newt" hated Reagan! So for me, the jury is still out. Romney hasn't connected with me as I want him to, but neither has Santorum, not all the way. These candidates must explain their vision for America's future well enough to garner support from both moderate and conservative Republicans, as well as from key independents. But let's face reality, the time is coming....soon....when we will enter a booth and pull a lever, push a button, punch out a chad. We WILL have to make a choice. Voters must urge on their favorites. "Come on Mitt!"; "Come on Rick!"; "On Dasher, and Prancer......" Please urge them and their "super pacs" to tone down the vicious attack ads and to focus on our future!

When Reagan ran the first time, history tells us that many "Republicans" held their collective breath when they voted for him. To those 'undecided voters' Regan was a dark horse. Could he be trusted? Well, history says.....Oh, Yeah!

All I can say about this election is that the only candidate that is selling himself well to Republicans is another Obama...a slick talking, snake oil salesman with a dark history...and just like with Obama, "The Newt" knows that "a sucker is born every minute". Don't get sucked in to that two legged, fast talking mess. That's my personal opinion. "The Newt" would have been a formidable opponent had he not loaded his train with so much baggage. He, too, is a flip-flopper. But "The Newt" is an angry flip-flopper, more like our current extremist-in-chief, "Osama" Obama. If he in fact IS a  true conservative, and that vote is still out, he'd make an excellent teacher, nullifying much far-left wing corruption that college students receive.

2) Regarding the Keystone Oil Pipeline: I guess I'd have to go back to my football analogy. This time, however, It's the OTHER team, and it's the coaches fighting over who's the best coach, at a time when their team is  being crushed by the opposition. The coaches? Why they are "The Barrack" and "The Hillary", two far left wing, Socialist/Marxist dictator wanna-be's. Think not. Hear what Texas Representative Joe Barton told Assistant Secretary of State Kerri-Ann Jones at a recent meeting:
“Well, we fought and won World War II in less time than it’s taken so far to evaluate this project,” Barton said. “I mean, with all due respect, it is an insult to the American people to say that you need more time.

“There are 10 other agencies that have reviewed this project and – correct me if I’m wrong, but my understanding is that the Corps of Engineers approved it, the Department of Agriculture approved it, the Department of Interior approved it, the Department of Transportation approved it, the Environmental Protection Agency – believe it or not – approved it, the Defense Department approved it; the Justice Department approved it, the Homeland Security Department approved it and the Department of Commerce approved it. Only the State Department, which I believe, by law is required to look at the International implications since its trans-Canada -- only the State Department did not approve it.”

The above, if for no other reason (and there are plenty of reasons) is why "The Hillary" should never, ever, be president, and why "The Barrack" should go away....hopefully today. These two insane morons have no commitment to 'America the Great' what-so-ever.

An aside: It is true that "The Barrack" wanted the words "Hail to the Chief" changed to "Hail Ceasar!". I am all for that change only if it occurs immediately prior to March 15th!

Obama Speaks...."State of Fantasy in the USA"

I don't like Barrack "osama" Obama as the president of the United States. Let me clarify. I don't like liars, sneaks, demigods, narcissists, or dictator 'wanna-be's' in positions of power in our country. Those kinds of people, combined, represent the antithisisis of what America stands for. They represent an America of special interest groups and the mob. As of today, this group compromises about 70% of politicians, public officials, and judges. In other words, America has become a dysfunctional nation.

You can obtain a copy of Obama's fantasy, er, state of the union address. Warning! read it while sitting on the commode because if you are a red, white, and blue American, you will become sick. These are the words spoken by a lame president whose world take-over plans are being shredded by simple common sense.

I saw this current mess coming back in the late '60s - '70s, starting with the advent of open schools, open marriages, free sex, and an 'anything go's' philosophy. In retrospect, we didn't have "Camelot", we had "Sodom and Gomorrah". We went from a nation of fighters, of winners, of hard workers, to a nation of "everybody gets a participation trophy...". I personbally direct all the blame to three "events" that began at that time: 1) Open marriages and keeping up with the Jones led to two working parent families, or one parent families where mom had to go get a job; 2) a huge increase in permissiveness by parents in general, allowing kids to grow up wild and insolent; and 3) the corruption of our system of education, now taken over by union radicals and spoiled, immature kids, who were, themselves, brainwashed by our ubber-liberal colleges, and that cycle continues, over and over, again.

Our current 'liar-in-chief' represents the lowest of our nations' historic lows; Obama is the (OMG!) hangover! He represents, and is spokesperson for, every charlatan who ever roamed our country, taking  money from hard working, naive people via slight of hand, and slick talking. Obama is a con. He may not be the current iteration of the "Manchurian Candidate" (jury is still out on that one), but he and his insane actions come close, as history will show.

Whereas Jimmy (I'm-a-nut job!) Carter was so transparent that he resembled a jellyfish, whose innards could be easily seen as it glides through the water, Obama is a slick talking, back alley, thug. Carter could be forgiven his sins by some (not me), because he was the superstar of naivete'. On the other hand Obama has demonstrated over and over again that he is nothing greater than a self-serving thug; A bully; who flies into rages when he doesn't get his own way (and this character has his finger on the nuclear ' button'...sheesh!).

Last night's phony 'state of the union' address could have been renamed, ;The America I fantasise about' address. It was pitiful! His primary economic destructive weapon against the citizens of America, "OsamaObamaCare", wasn't even mentioned. If Obama was too terrified of the backlash he'd receive by proudly touting his (fantasy) greatest achievement as POTUS, what is left to discuss? Oh, in reality (a place to where Obama would never travel), there are no....zero....shining lights of success in his soon-to-be-ended debacle as president. So our Thug-in-chief had to revert back to his fantasies of being "Robin of the Hood", more self-serving, self-praise, all the while quietly begging to be re-elected..."so's he can finish the job...of, what? The job of totally destroying America?

At this point, running Charles Manson against this arrogant jerk would probably mean victory for Republicans. Thanks GOD that Republicans tend to be smarter than that. If the remaining candidates do not commit mass suicide, or mass murder of each other, any current candidate would beat Obama...even Ron Paul, who is only "technically" a Republican candidate.

As I wrote yesterday, I like "Santormney" as my candidate of choice. I used to live in Gingrich's old House district...He's smart, but as a politician, 'the Newt' is as sneaky and corrupt as Obama, and about as true a Republican as Obama. The longer "the Newt" speaks, the more I remember how ashamed Republicans were of him. He's not a loose cannon, Newt is a loose nuclear weapon. Tick-Tock; Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock.......................................................BOOM!

Note to Mitt - Stop trying to please everybody

Dear Mitt:
I am a conservative. I do not call myself a fundamentalist, or a far right wing-nut conservative. If the conservative side of the political spectrum was 0-50, with "0" being the starting line, middle of the road, quasi-independent spot, then I'd rank somewhere between the "25" and the "30" on that scale. Like you, I was once a democrat, but would have ranked in the "5" to "10" spot over on the democrat side. I was younger then, much more naive, and really stupid about politics (just like young voters today?)

Like you, Mitt, I eventually grew up, politically speaking. Like you, I realized how destructive the Democrats were to the future of our great nation. Like you, I suffered through the "commie" Carter years, sitting in wonderment that the idiot voters in America would elect a Marxist democrat as president....an immature, narcissistic, somewhat psychotic Marxist at that.

I believe, however, that the country must suffer through an idiot like Carter, or a sex-addicted, child-like persona like Clinton, to force a "reset" of our values. I blame the 'values' problem totally on our education system, which must be changed as soon as possible.

Back to you, sir. Please stop being "Mr. Nice Guy". To win my vote, you must begin ignoring your REPUBLICAN opponents and start acting presidential. Start acting as if you are our candidate and start attacking Obama and his crazy, Marxist ideas. Beyond that, you must begin describing your dream of where America are; and what we must do as a nation in order to reinvigorate our success. Forget about playing to special interest groups, like unions. You cannot win them over, so why waste valuable speaking time.

You must paint a picture in your own mind where you have just purchased a huge, multi-billion dollar corporation. You own it! You have hundreds of thousands of worried, but still loyal employees. Those employees are still loyal to the company...not you....yet. They want to preserve their jobs. They want to feel that they and this 'company' will be safe and continue to grow in the global economic market. But the company has been slipping, failing to meet its corporate goals...just like America. The company needed a change in management, just like America does. There have been layoffs; more are expected.

OK. Mitt, do you get this? The race you are currently running appears to be one of your being a consultant to that before mentioned company, not the sole owner. Mitt, if you want to win, you must take ownership. Your people (just like us voters) must believe in you and your management ability to put this company back on the right track...a track that provides success and security for its 'employees. Mitt, stop being a 'consultant' candidate, and start being an 'owner' candidate. It's what you do best.

About you. I believe you are a good, honorable man. I believe that you are a good family man; a Christian (a real Christian). I believe you are honest, as opposed to Newt, who is an old school dishonest, politician. Democrats have their phony, and we have already had a taste of the real Gingrich.

Remember, Mitt, that Reagan started out as a democrat, but he grew up and learned that his calling was to achieved as a Republican. Reagan was able to laugh off his early years as his naive time. Why aren't you using that same approach? If you are running as a Republican, I and other conservative voters must assume you feel that way....but we ARE WAITING FOR YOU TO SAY IT AND TO SAY IT WITH CONVICTION, AS REAGAN DID! Don't be afraid of your past...it was a learning experience.

As of today, I, and many conservative friends, are wishing that we could consolidate you and Rick Santorum into one person, one "ideal" candidate..."Santormney". We cannot, so it's between you and Rick Santorum to fight it out for our support...MY support. Ignore Gingrich. He's a very slick talking buffoon, who swings left or right depending on the political wind. He's a dirty fighter, and relies on his gift for gab, JUST LIKE OBAMA DOES, to confuse people into voting for him.

Mitt, it's time for you to take some personal "alone time", get on your knees, and ask God to guide you. It's time to re-evaluate your approach to this race. Think about it. But, you have to be honest about being a Republican....from the inside out, not the other way.

God Bless America! God Save America!

Mitt vs Newt...Awe, Come On!

I am speaking from the position of having never been a Mitt Romney supporter...reluctantly. I must preface this by commenting on the current election "mud wrestling" or "Cage Fighting" campaigns being waged and soon to be waged. They are horrible, bloody, replete with low blows, back stabbing and hair pulling, and that's just the opening rounds.

I used to live in Newt's voting district in Georgia. To be fair, Newt's congress accomplished several things that benefited the Republican Party. Hindsight tells me that those successes happened thanks more to a centrist president who was always getting his own member stuck in his zipper, and who wanted to keep his own popularity high.

During those uplifting years, our economy was stable, people were relatively happy, and all the lunatics in Washington were not trying to make outrageous statements on TV every day, like we now have from the likes of Peelisi and punch-drunk Reid.

That said, Newt irritated me back then because he appeared to represent that spoiled, loud-mouthed, lame-brained (but smart) rich kid who roamed campus (or high school) halls giving 'wedgies' to the unsuspecting. In a word, Newt was irritating, childish, grating, but smart, very smart.

Newt is also a very angry man. As far as his "gone to God" verbiage goes, need we go back any further than the Crusades or the Inquisition to recall how 'god-filled' men reeked vengeance on humanity. We see that same thing today in the bodies of Muslim extremists, who care nothing about whom they kill, as long as they kill SOMEBODY. I may want a champion as my president, to protect me and my family at home; but I don't want a pillager of American citizens (like our current pillager-in-chief). As his (wink, wink it wasn't my idea) recent political movie about Mitt Romney goes, Newt appears true to form with regard to having a 'kill anybody in the way' philosophy. In the "God fearing", and "God believing" categories, I must give a big edge to Mitt Romney...and Rick Santorum...and Michelle Bachmann. Those people practice what they believe. Newt does too, until he senses some real or implied affront to his 'genius' (sound familiar to any current politicians or presidents?). If he does, Newt immediately draws his sword and begins hacking and slashing.

I remain a Santorum supporter, but in terms of electability, I have begun leaning toward Mitt Romney.  I continue to wonder whether I'm seeing the real Mitt, but I have months remaining until the Republican convention to see if Mitt emerges as the champion of the Republican party....the entire Republican party. The confusion about Mitt is promulgated by a left wing, progressive press that is working it's collective ass off to distribute disinformation about all Republican candidates. Their "boy" Barrack, has proven to be just that, a boy, a mean, lying, sneaking, vicious little boy who attempts and fails repeatedly at the task of doing a real man's job. Of the remaining Republican candidates, the real men are Romney and Santorum (I had included Bachmann and Palin, but one dropped out, bloodied, and one chose to keep her family out of the liberal wood chipper. But they were both, in political terms "Real Men").

If he doesn't self-destruct some way, Romney should win the Republican nomination. I will gladly vote for him, if only to bring some semblance of sanity back to Washington politics. I will then donate any money I have left to Conservative campaigns designed to remove Peelosi, Reid, Shummer, Durbin, Waxface, BoxerShorts, etc, etc. from office. Scum like those wack-o's have no place in our Nation's Capital.

So, Mitt, this is your nomination to lose. The slimy, RINO, segment of the Republican party wants you badly, which scares the hell out of me. That said, I look at your family values, your moderate conservative views, and pray that you have real Conservative blood running through your veins. The kind that runs "Red, White, and true Blue" when the going gets tough. If not, your election will hurt the party. It's time to do some real soul searching and to stop listening to all the snot-nosed hangers-on that flit around you, dissecting every word you speak. Mitt. Start speaking for yourself, and for all those Americans you want to speak for when in Washington. That's the only way we the voters will be able to understand just who you are. You appear to really want to be president. I assume that you have true, conservative, America saving, reasons for doing so. Show those to me.

God Bless America! God Save America!

Washington, inc. vs The American People

I had to turn off this blog for days. It's too disheartening to watch the Republican presidential candidates implode, hurling verbal rocks at each other. I remain a Palin supporter. I do so, even as I remain dumbstruck at the way RINOs treat her. Sarah Palin represents everything that the Republican Party should be standing for and vociferously defending. Instead, smart ass rinos continue taking cheap shots at Ms. Palin and her family. I see this as reinforcement of why Republican voters must continue sweeping rinos out of office, and replacing them with conservative candidates.

The liberal/progressives HATE Palin and the Conservative movement, represented in many ways by the AmericanTea Party. Fat ass Wasserman-Schlitz is so terrified of the Tea Party that she blames it for everything from the attack on Gabby Gifford to children who jay-walk on the way to school. Her love interest, Barack "I'm really a Marxist, Muslim extremist" Osama Obama, is now begging all the people he lied to the first time around to "just give me four more years..." ("because I still have some areas of this stupid country to screw up even more...!").

What does this all mean? As the heading implies, that it's "Washington Inc." vs the American people. Forget about party lines. Both parties are corrupt, or filled with corruption. Fraud is rampant. Little concern is given to the needs of every day American citizens. It's the needs of sick-os like George Soros that count, or the pathetic people like Michelle "I like to be called your excellency" obama, that count. The frustration is growing, and unfortunately, Republicans are taking things out on each other, particularly the candidates.

I have one thing to say to the remaining candidates...STOP THE BS! It's the economy! It's the attack on our Constitution! It's the attempted union takeover of our country! It's college "professors" receiving $250,000 per year for working maybe 10 hours a week, pontificating about subjects they have no....ZERO actual experience in. Until these problems are eliminated, there should be no candidate infighting. The candidates have one job - expose Obama and his thugs for what they are, criminals seeking to take over America for their own personal gain. That's the message! stick to it and grow your support. Stray from that message and you will self-destruct, as the Newt is...once again.

For now, it's Washington DC, INC. vs the American People, and Washington DC is winning.

God Bless America! God Save America!

Leslie Stahl---phony journalist

I was dumbstruck by the horrific performance of pseudo-journalist Leslie Stahl of "60 Minutes" infamy, this past Sunday evening. Showing how low a narcissistic, self-serving pretend member of the New York "elite" can be, Stahl used every conniving trick in her witch-bag to insult Eric Cantor, House majority leader. Using leading questions, feigned shock, and overly dramatic reactions (for the camera, of course) at Leader Cantor's answers, Stahl showcased herself as "everything that's wrong with journalism today". Her performance was an insult, ala "Dan Rather", to the normally neutral or middle-ground approach to news issues presented by the show "60 Minutes". Stahn should resign immediately, as she no longer represents either legitimate Journalism or journalistic ethics.

A showcase question that showcased Stahl's putrid line of questioning centered upon her OPINION that Cantor refused to budge in budget negotiations with the Senate. Stahl's theatrical surprise at Cantor's answer is a great indication of how progressive liberals are so brainwashed by their own, self-centered, ideology.

I suggest that House Leader Cantor and other Conservative Republicans use the following analogy when asked about their stance on budget negotiations:

The kind of Ponzi Scheme that you (questioner) speak of can be best represented by the couple who have maxed out their five credit cards to the tune of $125,000, having $25,000 limits on each card. At the beginning of the new year, they both receive word that they would receive pay increases totally $25,000.

However, instead of doing what prudent people who have maxed out their credit cards would do, apply those raises toward paying down their existing balances and thereby becoming more fiscally solvent, those "progressive" spend thrifts would immediately call all five credit card companies and demand credit line increases of $5,000 to each card.

The above is what the liberal progressives are doing with the national debt, ever increasing it regardless of the future consequences. The liberals argue that there is more money coming in, so they can then spend more. The Conservatives say not paying down the debt will only lead to future disaster, as interest continues to compound, and new spending never stops.

This is the argument. Only those who "believe" they will benefit from the progressive approach, and are either too naive, or too stupid to realize that sooner or later, this kind of national Ponzi Scheme breaks down, will continue to support such a ludicris scheme. This scheme is the basic "tax & spend" argument of the progressives, and they count on the fact that their constituency is too stupid, too naive, or too greedy, to want things any other way. Part two of the progressive game plan is: when the Ponzi Scheme does falter and collapse, blame everything on the Conservatives, and do so by yelling and screaming loudly enough so the beforementioned group of voters actually believes them.

Hey, it's worked for the liberals so far.....

God Bless America! God Save America!
